Dear subscriber,

I finally received my Youtube Silver Award! I did not know that I had to order the award. I reached this milestone in June and I noticed it was taking too long for my plate to arrive. Then, I decided to email Youtube creator support. To my surprise, he told me I had not ordered it yet. Well, it is finally here, and I am at almost 150,000 subscribers now, but it is okay. There is still some enthusiasm to take a picture and post it to my friends.

Thank you for trusting me and subscribing to my channel. It is truly an honour for me to enter your house, your office, your life and share with you what I’ve learned over the past 30 years.

My channel is for people with chronic pain. I am a physician in Toronto, Canada and I started posting videos once a month in 2019, then in October 2020 one of my videos (Exercises for Osteoporosis) started spiking. I noticed people wanted more videos about exercises, so I did another for osteoarthritis of the hip and knee in November 2020, and that one is almost 3,000,000 views now. Since Jan 2021 I’ve been posting one video per week.

I have many ideas for future videos and I plan to keep posting once a week. If you want to suggest any topic, just leave a comment here, or on the channel. I have a list of about 100 videos that I need to make, but if you tell me about a video that you want that is not on my list, I may push it to the front of the line. These are some topics that I have on my list for future videos: Exercises for piriformis syndrome, ketamine, patellofemoral syndrome, and many more.

The part that I like best about this channel is reading your comments. I wake up every morning looking forward to connecting with people who watch my videos. It is truly what gives me the energy to keep posting videos. I respond to every single comment and one of my most common responses is “Please talk to your doctor”. There are a lot of people who want my medical advice, but I can’t offer any recommendation if I don’t take a full detailed history of what is going on and if I don’t examine the patient.

I would like to thank my family for supporting me and helping me with the technical part and promotions on social media. And also for putting up with me when I am working 12 hours straight on a Saturday to be able to launch a video on Sunday.

I hope to reach the next milestone soon, and get my Gold Award for 1,000,000 subscribers. Please share this channel with your friends and family who have chronic pain: https://www.youtube.com/c/DrAndreaFurlan

Good bye!
